GreenTouch visits Mende Maryland Lagos

On Saturday the 13th of August GreenTouch visits Mende Maryland in Lagos. The purpose of this special visit is to ascertain the level of the deterioration taking place around some isolated spots in the area. We also hope to have a friendly chat with the locals. That way we hope to understand how it is they have been surviving there and how best we can help improve there lives
Environmental risk factors, such as air, water and soil pollution, chemical exposures, climate change, and ultraviolet radiation, contribute to more than 100 diseases and injuries. By focusing on reducing environmental and social risk factors, nearly a quarter of the global burden of disease can be prevented. Examples include promoting safe household water storage, better hygiene measures, safer management of toxic substances in the home and workplace.
